What's RSS?

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". In plain English RSS is a technology that delivers online content, such as blog posts, to devices and apps that can read RSS. So an RSS reading app, like Google Reader for example, allows you to subscribe to "RSS feeds". Whenever a feed is updated with new content it will show up in the RSS reader.

What this really means is that RSS lets you subscribe to your favourite blogs and have all the new posts delivered straight to you when they are published.

To manage RSS subscriptions you'll need an RSS reader. I recommend a free Web based reader called Google Reader, but there are plenty of others.

To subscribe, just follow this link and select the reader you use to add the feed to your subscriptions. Alternatively, just add the following URL into your reader as a new subscription:

http://feeds.feedburner.com/usabilitypost

Subscribe by Email?

Don't use RSS? No problem, you can get new posts delivered to you by email. Just follow this link to sign up. Your email will be used only for the UsabilityPost subscription and will be kept completely private.

Twitter?

If you use Twitter you can follow me here. I will be posting any UsabilityPost updates there along with other interesting links I find.
